the ultimate adventure...

hi.

sorry i know its been a while but i was a little busy lately. anyways this post is about our trip to clowntown. the people attending the trip were raphi, alex, marcus(sipho-rsa) and myself. i heard a lot about this 4 miles by 2 miles small island situated on the southernmost point of the us (with more than 380 bars) but i never expected things like that. it is a gay capital on the one hand and crazy clowntown on the other hand (don't get me wrong the gay part is also crazy...)

we arrived on saturday around noon, booked a sunset cruise on saturday including an adventure trip on sunday. our hotel was unfortunately situated in one of the gay hotspots, our hotel/pool bar was rated one of the best gay bars on the island... this was probably one of the reasons why it was that cheap:-)

they looked a little funny at us, as 4 young gentlemen checked in in a 2 kingsize bedroom! hihihihi

anyways we tried not to spend to much time in this area so we went to duval street (clown hotspot and hundred of bars) most of the time.

guys (back home) believe it or not but i jumped into the ocean (7 miles away from the safe island) to experience the reefs and the marina life of the florida keys. it was definitely not the last time i did that cause it is just amazing and you can't get enough of it once you're in there. raphi met a shark next to the reef, and i was kind of glad that i wasn't with him at this point of time.(i would have probably shit into my pants.. ;)

meine kollegen raphi, alex, und marcus(rsa) und ich haben uns am letzen wochenende aufgemacht zu einem 3 tage kurztrip auf die florida keys. eingebucht in einem schwulen hotel (haben wir vorher nicht gewusst) haben wir uns auf eine sonnenuntergang bootsfahrt am samstag und auf einen abenteuer catamaran am sonntag begeben. wie ihr auf den fotos spaeter sehen werdet waren schnorcheln an einem riff, jetski fahren, parasailing, kayak fahren und trampolin im ozean im angebot inbegriffen.

glaubt mirs oder nicht aber ich bin 7 milen draussen am offenen ozean ins wasser gesprungen um die unterwasserwelt der florida keys etwas zu erkunden. so sehr ich mich ueberwinden musste in bzw neben einem schwarm voller yellowtail snapper zu springen, so sehr wurde ich im nachhinein belohnt.

das ist mit abstand eines der faszinierensten sachen die ich bis jetzt gesehen habe, ich war jedoch durchaus froh das ich bei raphis bekanntschaft mit einem netten hai nicht dabei war... wenn der neben mir erschienen waere dann gebe es den lieben fritz hoechstwahrscheinlich nicht mehr weil von uns gegangen wegen eines herzinfarktes...

wir wollten gleich nach der ankunft an die hoteleigene poolbar auf ein kaltes gehen, als wir dann aber mehrere nackte maennliche geschoepfe beim sonnenbaden erblickten, haben wir uns dann aber doch entschlossen diese idee wieder zu verwerfen.

ja wir haben uns selbstverstaendlich auch das nachtleben etwas angeschaut und ich kann nur sagen: lauter depperte. ein teil der insel ist ein schwulen district (in dem unser hotel situiert war;) und da faehrt man halt mal hin damit man es einmal gesehen hat, wohnen will man da jedoch nicht- ausser man ist eine gruppe wilder hunde wie wir..;)

es ist eine insel mit richtig karibischen flair, hunderten von bars, hunderten von schwulen, tausenden von huehnern, und nochmal so vielen verrueckten.(fast wie strawa mit etwas besserem wetter...) zusammenfassung: mit sicherheit einer der verruecktesten plaetze auf gottes erdboden...

making of happy b-day pics for hf aus i

salve.

ENGLISH (please read the text first!!!)
we went to the beach a few days ago to take some pictures (i got some below) for my lovely friends b-day post. we took a few in different spots and the last one (which is my absolute favourite) was taken at the beach right in front of the water. i set up the camera in the sand (selftimer mode) not considering the fact that the waves were pretty high at this day. what happened was a big ass wave went way to far on the beach and spilled all over my camera. the funny thing was that the selftimer mode took a picture just before it got covered with all the water.

and as you can see on my (i think my comment is pretty obvious) and on chris' face we both were pretty shocked! anyways the camera is fine and the picture is hilarious.

DEUTSCH (bitte vorher unbedingt lesen, dann schauen)
ok fuer meine freunde in oe-reich. chrissi und ich haben uns zum strand aufgemacht um ein paar nette fotos (siehe unten) fuer unseren gemeinsamen freund hf aus i zu machen. eines der letzten aufnahmen war dann am strand unmittelbar vor dem wasser (massa ich warte auf ein dummes kommentar). leider gottes waren die wellen relativ hoch an diesem tag und so passierte das unerwartete. die kamera mit selbstausloeser ging fuer ein paar sekunden auf tauchstation, hat aber lustiger weise noch ein foto gemacht bevor sie mit wasser ueberflutet wurde. meine aussage in dieser situation kann man glaub ich an meinen lippen ablesen, die chrissi schaut einfach nur wie wenns einen hai gesehen haette (was ja auch stimmt siehe happy b-day foto) lange rede kurzer sinn, ganz einfach ein sehr cooles und lustiges foto wie ich finde!!!

hey.

today(monday). frenchmans creek north course. 2 golf carts. a few golf clubs. sunshine. ff's camera. austria 3.

southbeach/suedstrand

hello.

we decided to go to southbeach a few days ago cause we heard the rumor that the nightlife down there should be pretty good.it was chris, marcus(sipho), siphos dog, raphi and myself. as it was a friday night we thought the chance of having fun in a crowded and busy club are probably not too bad. good to go. so we went to club mansion at washington avenue. the club was ok, the music was very good (dj seb fontaine was playing)- we had fun its all that matters.

next day we got up. actually the police woke me up by knocking on my cars window saying: 'u re not gonna drive this car right'???i said no my friends are gonna drive- but nobody was there-that was a little embarrasing and tough to explain. my lovely friends were already lying on the beach at this time. the fact that i lost my wallet while going out didn't make it easier for me to proof the cop my identity. the only id's i had in my car was the school id from b-hofen and the id from the austrian army. u re not gonna believe that the army id was fine with him.

anyways i decided to go for a run on the beach to get rid of my bad bad hangover. i can tell u one thing: one of the best spots i ve ever been running at is southbeach- absolutely classic. posing big times of course...

by the way all the pics are from raphis cam except the black and white ones from the beach the day after.

prinzessin

hi.

this post is dedicated to our lovely friend rita from austria. she was visiting us in new nork in oktober and joined us at our roadtrip all the way down to florida. she spent about 2 weeks (funny, very funny 2 ones) in the us and she left on monday last week.(we re still very sad...:(

short introduction: ms rita s. is from oberneukirchen and she is studying medicin in vienna (austria).

that's all about it i would say, HERE are the pics from rita's vacation...
